Guy Elliott

Tenor

Guy Elliott is a tenor based in London where he studied on a full scholarship at the Royal College of Music. Since completing his studies, Guy has built a varied career as an opera and concert soloist. He has won prizes at the Wigmore Hall International Song Competition and the Copenhagen Lied-Duo Competition.

Guy’s 2023/24 season highlights included Raoul de St. Brioche in The Merry Widow (Léhar) at Glyndebourne, a concert tour of Florida with Fuoco Obbligato performing a programme of baroque arias and duets, and creating the role of Antonin in the world premiere of Benjamin Attahir and Olivier Dhénin Hữu’s Paysage Dans L’Oubli at Saigon Opera House (also Hồ Gươm Opera). Other concert highlights include Handel’s Messiah at the Royal Albert Hall, Mozart’s Requiem at St. Stephen's Cathedral, Vienna, and Stockhausen’s Stimmung at Barbican Hall. Guy was an Oxford Song Festival Emerging Artist in 2023, performing Beethoven’s An die ferne Geliebte on the opening night of the festival.

Guy’s 24/25 season includes Trouble in Tahiti and A Quiet Place (Bernstein) at the Linbury Theatre, Royal Opera House, Hercules (Handel) at Grand Manège, Namur Concert Hall, and UK tours of Messiah and The Pirates of Penzance.
