Jennifer Ronyak is Assistant Professor of Musicology at the Institute for Music Aesthetics at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz; she was recently a Marie Skłodowska Curie European Fellow at the Faculty of Music of Oxford University (2021–22). She is the author of Intimacy, Performance, and the Lied in the Early Nineteenth Century (2018), the co-editor (with Benjamin Binder), of The Lied at the Crossroads of Performance and Musicology (forthcoming 2024) and of a number of articles and essays on Lieder, which have appeared in the Journal of the American Musicological Society, 19th-Century Music, The Journal of Musicology, Music & Letters, and edited volumes. She is currently working on the book Composing Philosophy: Amateur Approaches to Western Thought in Classical Music.
