Leah Broad


Leah is a Junior Research Fellow at Christ Church, University of Oxford, specialising in twentieth-century music. Her first book, Quartet, is a group biography of four women composers and will be published by Faber & Faber in March 2023. She was a 2016 BBC/AHRC New Generation Thinker, and won the 2015 Observer/Anthony Burgess Prize for Arts Journalism. She writes and presents for institutions including BBC Radio 3, Glyndebourne, London Chamber Orchestra, and the Wigmore Hall.
