Netia Jones is an Olivier Award nominated director/designer & video designer working internationally in opera, staged concerts, performance and installation, using video, film, and projected media in all of her work.
A “leading video pioneer” (Times) “bringing intelligence and integrity to the task of bringing video into classical music” (Guardian) Netia Jones creates opera, theatre and concert presentations with projection and multiple media. A “stage virtuoso” (independent) she created the award-winning VR opera Current Rising for the royal opera house, the film-and-theatre blended Orphée by Philip Glass for English National Opera, and the genre-defying Everlasting Light, a site-specific performance with projection mapping onto Sizewell nuclear power station for the Aldeburgh festival, UK. She is director of lightmap, a mixed media creative studio working internationally in video, film and installation projects in music and performance.
