Sam Ewens

Sam is a London-based trumpeter. Since graduating from the Royal College of Music he has pursued a varied career that spans every genre of music, playing with The Orchestre Révolutionnaire et Romantique, the English Chamber Orchestra, Nevill Holt Opera, toured with Russell Watson and Alfie Boe and performed with Sir Willard White and Sir John Tomlinson. Sam also has a career as a session musician - playing, recording and arranging for the likes of Labrinth, Ed Sheeran, Jungle, Clean Bandit, James Arthur, Haircut 100, Frank Turner, Clark (Decca) and recording on TV themes including The Wheel (BBC1), This Morning (ITV), The John Bishop Show (ITV) & In With A Shout (BBC). He has performed in every major venue & festival in Europe & the UK and has played live on BBC Radio 1 (Live Lounge), BBC Radio 2, BBC Radio 3 (In Tune) & BBC 6 Music.
