Young Artist Platform: Jessica Dandy & Dylan Perez
14 October 2018, 5:30pm 06 November 2024 - 12:06am
In an exceptional field of young professionals who applied for this year’s Oxford Lieder Young Artist Platform, two duos stood out, and they give their showcase recitals today and next Sunday (21st).
Today we welcome contralto Jess Dandy with pianist Dylan Perez, in a wonderful programme of songs by Schubert, Brahms, Wolf, Tchaikovsky and Montsalvage. As well as the OL Young Artist Platform, Jess is also the winner of the 2017 London Bach Society Prize and has already appeared at Heidelberger Frühling, the Barbican, and most recently at Wigmore Hall as the alto soloist in Bach's B Minor Mass with the Dunedin Consort.
