Schubert Birthday Concert

We celebrate Schubert’s 229th birthday with this special programme of his music. Alexandra Flood is a member of the Vienna Volksoper soloist ensemble, and her numerous competition successes include awards at Das Lied in Heidelberg and the International Haydn Competition. She and Sholto Kynoch perform a programme of Schubert songs, including favourites such as ‘Ganymed’, ‘Die junge Nonne’ and ‘Auf dem Wasser zu singen’, interwoven with movements from the ‘Moments Musicaux’, some of Schubert’s most enduringly popular piano pieces.
