15. Elizabeth Llewellyn & Simon Lepper: Coleridge-Taylor & Friends
17 October 2022, 1:00pm - 2:00pm
The thrilling soprano Elizabeth Llewellyn appears at the Festival for the first time with this wonderful programme exploring the composer Samuel Coleridge-Taylor and his circle of friends and contemporaries, including Puccini, Brahms and Stanford. Her recording of Coleridge-Taylor, also with exceptional pianist Simon Lepper, was widely acclaimed and The Guardian described the songs as ‘soaring melodic treasures’.
