34. Mozart's Journey to Prague: Lucy Hall, Jonathan Stone & Sholto Kynoch

In November 1787, Mozart returned triumphant to Prague for the premiere of Don Giovanni. His trip there was brought colourfully to life by Eduard Mörike in his famous novella Mozart’s Journey to Prague. For this concert, the great A major violin sonata K526, written at the same time as Don Giovanni, and songs of the same period are heard within an abridged retelling of Mörike’s capricious story.
