Shéhérazade

Andrew Hamilton and Michael Pandya are both current BBC New Generation Artists, who recently made their duo debut at Wigmore Hall. Andrew is a member of the Hamburg State Opera, having previously been a Young Artist and member of the ensemble at the Bayerische Staatsoper in Munich. Their programme today includes Ravel’s glittering Shéhérazade, and works by Strauss, Delius and Schoenberg: all early modernists who variously influenced, supported and fought with one another.
