Song at Wolfson: Nazan Fikret & Sholto Kynoch - On this Island

Nazan Fikret is a thrilling young soprano who has already sung 'The Queen of the Night' for Glyndebourne and Garsington Operas and made her debut at the Royal Opera House. A winner of many prizes, Nazan is also an artist with a strong commitment to song and we're delighted to welcome her in Oxford as part of our Song at Wolfson series.
Nazan and pianist Sholto Kynoch will perform some favourite Schubert songs, including 'An die Musik', as well as a group of songs by Brahms and Benjamin Britten's luminous cycle On this Island. They round off this lovely programme with a colourful group of songs by Erik Satie.
