Schubert Birthday Concert

Franz Schubert was born on this day in 1797, and we are delighted to begin a new tradition of marking his birthday each year with an all-Schubert programme. For this, Schubert’s 228th birthday, our Artistic Director, Sholto Kynoch, is joined by the renowned baritone Marcus Farnsworth for a programme that includes favourite songs such as ‘Frühlingsglaube’ and ‘Der Musensohn’, as well as the composer’s masterful Impromptu in B flat major.
