Song Circle
15 October 2026, 1:00pm - 2:00pm
The Swiss baritone Äneas Humm is fast establishing himself as one of the most exciting young singers, with recent debuts in major opera houses and venues around Europe and the US, and several recordings already to his name. In 2022, he was awarded a prestigious Opus Klassik Young Talent of the Year award. He is joined by the leading pianist Doriana Tchakarova, in a programme that includes Schumann’s glorious Liederkreis, op.39, setting the naturefilled and highly evocative poetry of Joseph von Eichendorff, alongside songs by Amy Beach and Franz Liszt.
