Maria Forsström & Sholto Kynoch
10 March 2018, 8:00pm - 10:00pm
Please note that Katharina Ruckgaber is unwell and has regretfully had to withdraw from this concert. We are very grateful to Maria Forsström for stepping in at short notice.
Swedish mezzo-soprano Maria Forsström is well-known to Oxford Lieder audiences, most recently appearing in the 2017 Festival, when she gave a stunning recital of songs by Sibelius and Mahler’s Kindertotenlieder. On Saturday, Maria Forsström and Sholto Kynoch will present a programme of Schubert, Wolf, and Mahler, followed by Grieg and various Swedish composers.
The Spring Weekend Pass is an excellent-value way to attend all events across the weekend, saving money and time in booking, and allowing you to immerse yourself in song. Book here.
