A New Dichterliebe: Wolfgang Holzmair & Matti Hirvonen

22 October 2016, 10:00pm 20 May 2024 - 12:10am

Wolfgang Holzmair makes a hugely welcome return to the Festival with a fascinating programme that explores Schumann's friends, contemporaries and followers through the supremely famous texts of Dichterliebe. He and Matti Hirvonen also include Heine settings by Scandinavian composers and Schumann himself.

See your name (or that of a dedicatee) alongside the Schumann song of your choice and help ensure the future of Oxford Lieder by sponsoring a song from £25. Thank you.
