Spanish Songs: Lorena Paz Nieto, Marta Fontanals-Simmons & Sholto Kynoch

Spanish soprano Lorena Paz Nieto, a former Oxford Lieder Young Artist, and British/Catalan mezzo-soprano Marta Fontanals-Simmons present Spanish and Catalan songs by Albéniz, de Falla, Toldrà and others. In the first half of the recital, they explore the influence of Spain on composers as diverse as Wolf, Debussy, Schumann and Shostakovich.
