35. Things That Go Bump In The Night: Katherine Broderick, Marcus Farnsworth & Sholto Kynoch

The final discs of our world-first project to record the complete songs of Hugo Wolf are released this year. To celebrate this, we bring two leading artists from the series in a programme of Wolf’s songs of elves, ghosts, sprites and mythical figures: by turns exciting, witty and moving, and always with Wolf’s trademark genius for word painting. The poetry of Eduard Mörike – explored across today’s events – features prominently, alongside settings of Eichendorff and Goethe.
