35. Schubert & Co.: A Schubertiade
20 October 2022, 7:30pm - 9:15pm
Schubert & Co. is an ensemble formed by Oxford Lieder’s Artistic Director, Sholto Kynoch, and a company of renowned singers, who come together to recreate the original spirit of the ‘Schubertiade’. Gathered around the piano, they perform glorious partsongs that were often some of the composer’s most personal works, as well as solo songs. Expect an informal and celebratory atmosphere of music-making, that shows the full breadth of Schubert’s astonishing creativity.
